My initial 1-star rating was for the 2023 version of this app. My chief complaint was that the app was completely unusable if you didn't have your location turned on. I'm happy to see that this was changed for the 2024 version. The app was useful and ran well, even on the venue wifi. My only complaint would be that it was difficult to navigate. A lot of clicks were necessary to get to the info you're looking for. A redesign to make the app more user friendly would be nice to see next year.

The color scheme needs to be fixed. Specifically, on the Schedule page there isn't enough contrast and/or brightness for the check mark box to add an event to My Schedule. Took me a while to even notice it was there. I imagine color coding event types or locations would also be beneficial instead of just having shades of violet/pink.

This app is very frustrating to use for any registration, it is clearly overwhelmed at 8am when registration opens, rendering it useless. I will say, the expo map is helpful. I wish I could search by name of booth, and if at all possible, by genre of products sold. ie. indie, dice, zines, retail board games, woodworking, advent, etc.
